A Kaduna based Islamic cleric, Muhammed Sanusi Gumbi, is dead.
Family sources said the renowned cleric died at a private hospital in Abuja at about 10:00 p.m. on Thursday after a protracted illness.
He is survived by two wives, many children and grand children.
The funeral prayers will take place after Juma’at prayers on Friday at Sultan Bello Mosque, Angwan Sarki, Kaduna.
