It’s been six months since Tiwa Savage’s estranged husband and former manager, Tunde Balogun, aka Teebillz, bid Instagram goodbye following their public fall-out in April.
Last week, he returned to the social media-networking platform unannounced, but his presence didn’t go unnoticed especially after he “liked” some posts.
Today, the father-of-four posted an inspirational photograph to his over 144,000 Instagram followers. The post talks about change, and the need to be the change you want to see in people.
Tiwa and Teebillz were one of Nigeria’s showbiz power couple up until cracks in the union came to the public domain in April.
This was after Tee Billz accused Tiwa of infidelity, amongst other things. In return, the wife alleged that he abused hard drugs.
Following the allegations, Clina Lancet laboratories in Lagos, ran tests to confirm Teebillz drug use history.
According to the results, which were published online on May 4, 2016, he tested negative to the use of Cocaine, Cannabis, Ecstasy, Oxycodone and every other form of hard drugs.
The results countered the rumours that he was a drug addict and that he was in debt because of drug abuse.
He has also reportedly been receiving spiritual guidance and counseling from the General Overseer of Trinity House, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, and Pastor Ayo Oluokun from City of David Church.
These two clergies were the first to reach out to him and pray with him, and for him, daily since his breakdown.
In addition, he has also been receiving life coaching sessions and therapy by Lanre Olusola also known as The Catalyst whom he first met over two years ago at the beginning of his struggles with depression.
Olusola has also thrown his weight behind TeeBillz. He dropped a comment on Tee Billz’s post, which read, “Tee Billz is a great mind. We all have our weaknesses including me. No one is perfect; we are all work in progress. But thank God my man Tee is changed from within; restored and now standing tall…watch this space.”
Sources close to Tee Billz say he acknowledges that he has made mistakes, and he is taking steps to mend and rebuild his life. They claim he is also getting the help he needs in order to be a renewed man for his family and loved ones.
