Nigeria started their World Cup qualifying series with 2-1 victory over Zambia at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium on Sunday.

Two first half goals Arsenal's from Alex Iwobi and Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho steered the west African giants to their first win in Group B.

Excited fans took to social media to commend the team's performance after handing Wedson Nyirenda's men their first defeat at Levy Nwanawasa Stadium since 2012.
