The Police Divisions in Abudu, headquarters of Orhionmwon Local Government of Edo State and Agbor, in Delta State say they are investigating Thursday's abduction of Margaret, wife of Central Bank of Nigeria’s Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
She was reportedly kidnapped by a group of heavily armed men along the Benin-Agbor Road.
The abductor are believed to have made contact with their victim’s husband, demanding a huge sum in ransom.
